A US recall of over 24,000 Sun Pharma prefilled syringes

Over 34,000 bottles of a generic medication, used to treat high blood pressure, are also being voluntarily recalled by the USFDA.

A recall was issued by the company due to the presence of particulate matter.

"A piece of glass was found in a prefilled syringe," it added. As part of its latest Enforcement Report, the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) announced the recall of 24,194 prefilled syringes of Fyremadel (ganirelix acetate).
